Traveling with little mouseketeers

For those who don't know, I'm not like a regular mom, I'm a Disney mom. I have a daughter, Peyton, who is 2 and a stepson, Mason, who is 5. We have been taking both kids since they were able to walk and travel with them often ( especially to Disney). Today Im going to touch on some travel tips and tricks that work well for us including some products that I don't leave town without!

3 words, Target dollar bin. The Target dollar bin is the highlight of all my target trips especially when flying/traveling with children. Before any trip this is a must do. The dollar bin has everything you need (and don't need) but some things we always make sure we purchase before any trip:

Window clings: who knew $1 pieces of sticky rubber could keep children entertained for so long!? Perfect for any plane or car trip, kids love peeling and sticking them to the car or airplane widows! Target usually has them year round and designs change seasonally and are a great way to cheaply occupy your children mess free!

Speaking of mess free, can we talk about the genius who invented the mess free markers!? Easily one of the best things to happen to parents everywhere and another awesome item to pack in your carry on. There are a lot of different "mess free" coloring options but my go to is the Imagine Ink Magic Ink Pictures which can also be found in the Target dollar bin. I love this brand because the pages are roughly larger than 5x5 and comes with 1 marker that changes color on the page. Any coloring is really a good idea this just happens to be my favorite because it is small and mess free!

Now if I told you every flight with my kids had been a pleasant experience I would totally full of sh*t. And thats exactly where Im going next...

If you are traveling with young children chances are your toddler may not be potty trained (no judgment) because as of the last time we flew my two year old was not, and sh*t happened, literally. Good news I had my Munchkin Arm & Hammer diaper bag dispenser with me! This essentially is a dog poop bag for your kids, no joke. It is about 5 inches and fits easily in your diaper/carry on bag and blocks the oder of messy diapers, Awesome right!? Whats not awesome, when your kid has a blow out on the plane and you don't pack a change of clothes so although the diaper is dispensed and contained nicely, the whole plane can still smell your child's dirty work :) Lesson learned the hard way. Carry diaper despenser bags AND a change of clothes. (Munchkin Arm & Hammer diaper dispenser and bags can be found at Target and at most grocery stores for $3.99).

Snacks... self explanatory but key to your traveling success.

Now you might be thinking this all sounds great but how am I supposed to carry all the kids crap, my crap, most likely your significant others crap (by crap I'm talking phones, iPads, chargers, magazines, meds) not to mention your magic bands, hotel info, birth certificates, the list can go on! I mean this stuff can take up a lot of room esp if you are a mom taking diapers, wipes, and a changing pad. For all the crap that needs to be carried... Fawn Design Bags. I LOVE Fawn Design. This bag is a game changer. 5 pockets on the inside of the bag which are perfect storage for wipes and diapers, two bottle sized pockets on the outside, and a front pocket as well. If the pockets are full, there is plenty of space left in the center of the bag for all of the things you are traveling with and then some. Are you saying come to Mama yet? If not let me seal the deal, Fawn Design bags doubles as a back pack or can be carried with a one should strap (which is detachable), it comes in a variety of colors, they are not an eye sore, and my favorite feature, IT CAN HOOK ON TO MY STROLLER! Let me tell you, carrying STUFF sucks, carrying stuff that is not yours sucks even more, carrying stuff that is not yours around a park all day in 90+ degree heat and humidity might be Hell on Earth, thats why Fawn Design was created, so you don't have to live in stuff carrying Hell! Thank you Fawn Design for being the best travel, park going, cutest diaper bag around. You're the real hero.

For stroller hooks Fawn has their own brand found here: https://fawndesign.com/collections/accessories

but are also compatible with Think King stroller hooks which can be found on Amazon or Buy Buy Baby.

So about those strollers... do yourself and favor, if you are taking anyone under the age of 4 with you to the parks, get a stroller. I bought a nice umbrella stroller (Summer Infant 3Dlite Convenience Stroller) for our most recent trip off Amazon for under $100. This stroller is perfect for Disney. It is lightweight, maneuvers well, and can quickly be folded up which is perfect when catching the bus, monorail, or boat! The back lowers down for nap time and has storage space at the bottom. Truly a dream and one of my favorite stroller investments to date (I currently have 3 strollers so...).

Here is the link to the Summer Infant 3Dlite and it comes in several colors!
